PathClips respects intellectual-property rights and expects every client to submit only content they are authorized to use. This policy explains client responsibilities and our process for copyright and related complaints.
Client Ownership and Limited Use
PathClips does not claim ownership of original images, logos, designs, or other materials submitted by clients. A client grants only the limited permission needed to receive, edit, quality-check, deliver, and support the requested project.
We do not publish client files as portfolio samples or promotional material without prior permission.
Client Rights and Responsibility
By submitting content, you confirm that you own it or have sufficient permission, license, or other legal authority to request the editing and intended use. You are responsible for model, property, trademark, copyright, publicity, and privacy permissions applicable to the content.
Prohibited and Restricted Content
PathClips may refuse or stop work involving:
- Counterfeit goods or unauthorized protected logos, designs, or trademarks.
- Images or creative assets that infringe copyright or other proprietary rights.
- Illegal, exploitative, sexually explicit, nude, or graphic content.
- Content used for fraud, impersonation, deception, harassment, or unlawful activity.
- Material that violates our payment provider's acceptable-use rules.
Submitting an Infringement Notice
If you believe content handled or published by PathClips infringes your rights, send a written notice to help@pathclips.com with the subject “Copyright Notice.” Your notice should include:
- Your full name, organization, address, phone number, and email.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or other protected right.
- The URL, order reference, file name, or other location sufficient to identify the disputed material.
- An explanation of why the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or law.
- A good-faith statement and a statement that the notice is accurate.
- Your physical or electronic signature and evidence of your authority.
Review and Takedown Process
We will review a sufficiently complete notice, may request additional information, and may restrict access, pause work, preserve relevant records, contact the submitting client, or remove public content while the matter is reviewed. We may provide the notice to the affected client or relevant service provider where lawful and appropriate.
Counter-Notice
If material was restricted because of a mistake or misidentification, the affected party may submit a counter-notice identifying the material, explaining the basis for lawful use, and providing contact information, a statement made in good faith, and a physical or electronic signature.
We may forward the counter-notice to the original complainant and take further action consistent with applicable law, contractual duties, and service-provider requirements.
Repeat or Serious Infringement
PathClips may suspend or terminate service, reject files, or close an account where a client repeatedly submits infringing content or where a single violation is serious. We may also report unlawful material or cooperate with competent authorities when legally required.
Misrepresentation and Abuse
Knowingly submitting a false infringement notice or counter-notice may create legal liability. PathClips may reject incomplete, abusive, or fraudulent requests. This policy is not a substitute for legal advice, and parties should obtain qualified counsel where ownership is disputed.
Trademark, Privacy, and Other Complaints
For trademark, privacy, publicity, impersonation, or other content-rights concerns, send the same identifying information and evidence to our support address. We will review the complaint under applicable law and our Terms & Conditions.
